I've added a few bits to this roadster - generally taken off my old v-spec. These include white dials, start button, chrome bits, etc...
Here's a few photos, including some gauges which I made up for this roadster:
The gauges are vacuum, water temperature and a clock. I've got an extra water temp gauges simply as the standard gauge doesn't exactly tell the truth...which isn't too good on the track. Ok, to explain, when you get in the car and start driving from cold, when the standard water temp gauge reads normal (i.e. at the 12 o'clock position), the 'proper' water temp gauge only reads 50 degrees. The standard water temp gauge reads 'normal' from here until the water temperature gets to 110 degrees! Only after 110 degrees the the normal gauge start to move over to the right - not exactly accurate...
I know this because the car takes a bit of a battering on the track and temperatures can get very, very hot. I replaced the radiator between the two track days this year (03) and the temperatures on my new gauge went down from about 110 to 95...which is quite a difference. The hottest I got using the old rad was about 120 - when I decided its best to slow down and let the engine cool a little! On the second trackday, I never got any higher than 98. During normal road use, I rarely get above 90.
